A street in Todi, from the window of our apartment

Prior to reaching Rome we stayed an evening in Todi, a small hilltop town in the province of Perugia. It felt like another world. The apartment we resided in for the night had a rooftop balcony, from which we watched the sun as it set in the distant Perugian horizon and admired the silhouette of the Duomo as it darkened in the foreground.

Unfortunately, Rome did not receive as many shots as she deserved because :

1. I was sick and miserable the first day we arrived, and very reluctantly quit the apartment without the FM2. I also gave the Colosseum a pass (whattt). But in my defence, I was feeling really sick.

2. The second day was spent in the Vatican City, where either it was too dim for proper exposures, or it was forbidden.

As with all the other places we visited, 2.5 days was insufficient to fully appreciate the rich history and culture of Rome.
