"I'm planning a camping trip out near Stanthorpe next weekend, would you like to join?" was how I ended up going on my very first spontaneous camping trip. My friend florence, who had initiated the idea above, in that same week planned the trip, bought a 10 person tent and booked a campsite in Girraween National Park. It was official.

The granite rock formations in the surrounds, which we hiked and tramped upon were spectacular; they gave one an adventurous spirit and a curious wonder.
